We believe that we are not just a childcare service but a community, in which children and parents are the core of our service, and one of our strengths is our flexibility and understanding of the needs not only of the children but also the parents,.
Here at Jigsaw Childcare our ethos and practice value offer diversity and promotes equality. We also make sure that the voice of each child is heard, respected and contributes to our programme. Our goal is to provide all enrolled children with the highest standard of care and promote healthy life choices and we will help every child grow into an independent child. Jigsaw Childcare is accessible to all members of the community, regardless of race, gender, family status, age, disability, or religious belief.
We strive to offer quality care and to do this we implement the Siolta standards and all our classroom leaders hold a BA in Early Childcare and Education and care Degree level 8.
We also offer a FREE settling in period which allows both child and parents to feel comfortable about the environment.
we are flexible to suit parents needs and do not charge parents for when jigsaw childcare is closed such as over the Christmas holidays and Easter breaks we do not charge for bank holidays.
after school care
Our Afterschool service is €5 an hour, this service operates around the school time table and we do not charge for school holidays. As part of the Afterschool service we have a home work club and activities such as arts & crafts (clay making), sawing, textured painting, creative art, board games, outdoor activities, and indoor play. We also provide the children with a hot healthy snack.
breakfast club
We have a breakfast club which is €5per day and starts at 8:00a.m until 9:00a.m. Jigsaw Childcare provides all the children in the club with a healthy breakfast such as Cereal, Toast and Fruit.
Pre-School & Free ECCE Places
Our Pre-school places are €15 per session. We provide two morning Session the first is 9am to 12pm and then again at 12.30pm to 3.30pm. Our curriculum includes Aistear, Montessori and Play. Our outdoor area creates lots of fun and learning opportunities.
toddler room
For children aged 18 months to 2 ½ years we have a Toddler room, which is €15 per session. We offer a planned curriculum as well and free play through our Aistear program. Jigsaw Childcare provide a fun and secure environment in our especially panned toddler room.
